Liminal Creative is growing!

I (Todd) am excited to officially announce that as of January 1, 2022, Liminal Creative is merging with Groundswell, whose founder, Bill Cummings will join our team as Co-Owner and Co-CEO.

Bill has been a good friend of Todd’s for over ten years and is a seasoned nonprofit founder, leader, marketer, fundraiser, and storyteller. He is the founder and former executive director of Lemonade International (where I served on the Board of Directors) and has served in key leadership positions with Zoe Empowers and Restore NYC. He has worked with multiple clients on organizational strategy, branding, fundraising, and communications for the last two years.

By merging with Groundswell, our services and capabilities will expand significantly. Until now, we have focused on website development and fundraising processing. From now on, we will have the capacity to serve clients with more comprehensive services such as strategy, branding, messaging, fundraising strategy, and full-service graphic design.

As a social impact creative agency, we work to position social impact organizations (like yours) as agents of change in the world through strategy and storytelling. Practically speaking, we help you get from where you are now to where you need to be.

We live in one of the most liminal times in recent history — a time of considerable transition. Yet, we believe nonprofit leaders and organizations are catalysts for real change — change the world desperately needs. We have a new logo and website. This new branding is our way of marking this organizational milestone with a fresh look that conveys a bold, creative, and thoughtful approach to our work.

Todd Hiestand

Todd has over 20 years of experience as a leader in the nonprofit sector. He has served in a wide variety of roles, guiding digital marketing, technology, fundraising, eCommerce, and communications strategies. His expertise in developing systems and processes has helped launch organizations and sustain growth over time.
